Online media tonight show their real power. Rescue of Chilean miners is online in every corner of the world, doesn’t matter which time zone is. We keep cross fingers for everyone there. Thanks to online broadcast we can see tears, emotions, happiness on people’s faces there.
But, I’m wondering, what headlines will be published in newspapers. Where is here the place of newspapers? How they will cover that story? What are they going to write tomorrow, which numbers they will publish: “Four miners were rescued”, “Six miners were rescued”… Deadline for preparing new printed issues is in last minutes… Hard task for editors who now need to publish stories who won’t be “story from yesterday”.
